    • Hello Avery,

Yes, I am currently working on the 2nd book. The working title is Agony of the Gods, the Village. As with all my writing, I have the beginning and the end, it’s just getting from A to B that causes problems.
If you liked Agony of the Gods, Softly Falls the Snow please post a rating on Amazon and/or Goodreads. The more reviews, the easier it will be to convince my publisher to go with a second book.
Thanks for asking, and if you have any questions about book 1, feel free to ask!

      Best wishes,
      DocTom

    Dr. Tom,

I love your explanation, and heartily agree with everything you said. I think the problem comes from the way the ending is worded. It looked like someone else wrote the last few sentences. Is there anyway you can tie it less directly to the actual words of the title so that the meaning can sine through?

    • Well, unfortunately, since the book is published already there really isn’t any way to change the wording. On the plus side it gives readers something to talk about. Some readers told me they got the meaning, while other were totally clueless as to the meaning.

As far as a sequel goes, I’m working on one, but not really sure how long it will take. I’ve got the beginning, the end and much of the middle, but it’s always details that hold you up.

    Dr. Tom,

I did get all the points you outlined. I want you to know how refreshing it is to find an author who thinks all those things through. Just one class of details among many that you have to keep track of for the next book. I read more than your average reader, spanning many genres including literature, and find most books disappointing, which is why I was so excited to read your work. I look forward your new release.
